I'm Frank Dorsey, an IRS-licensed Enrolled Agent and the founder of F. Dorsey Tax and Financial Services, right here in San Francisco. For more than 40 years, I've helped Bay Area individuals, families, and business owners navigate tax season with confidence — and, just as importantly, plan ahead so next year's tax bill doesn't catch anyone by surprise.

I started this practice on the belief that good tax help shouldn't feel like a once-a-year transaction. Most of my clients stick with me for years — some for decades — because I take the time to actually understand their financial picture: their job, their family, their goals, and how the tax code applies specifically to them. Over the years I've had the privilege of working with professionals working across the Bay Area from Kaiser, UCSF, Oracle, Salesforce, Google, and Meta, alongside small business owners, self-employed freelancers, and mission-driven nonprofits across San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.

Today, a growing part of my practice is working professionals — managers, teachers, and operators building real careers and real income who want more than a once-a-year filing. My office is on Bayshore Boulevard in San Francisco, and I work with clients throughout the city and the Bay Area, in person and remotely.
